My name is Maya Thalia Bishop. I use they/them/theirs pronouns. Originally from SoCal, I moved to New York City and attended The Institute for American Musical Theatre. I'm currently a Swing in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at Stages St. Louis. Before that, you could see my NYC theatrical debut in Hope Springs Internal as Frances.

I grew up an avid ballerina and modern dancer. I fell in love with musicals watching DVDs of The Sound Of Music and Annie. I went to Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for dance. My junior year, I auditioned for Beauty and the Beast and I've been doing musical theatre ever since! When I'm not in class or performing, you can find me cooking for my friends, crocheting, babysitting, and reading!​
